The article examines the ornamental motifs of unglazed tableware pottery found during archaeological excavations at the South Aral Sea settlements of the Golden Horde period. The focus is primarily on tableware and ceremonial dishes from the quarters of the Mizdakhkan, Dzhampykkala, Pulzhai, and other sites on the left bank of the Amu Darya delta. The decoration of the tableware can be divided into geometric, floral, plant-geometric, and zoomorphic categories. An attempt is made to analyze the meanings and motifs of the ornamentation of tableware from the Golden Horde period. The tableware from Southern Aral Sea is compared with artifacts from other regions of Central Asia and ethnographic data in terms of decoration. Unglazed tableware from this period, compared to the preceding one, undergoes significant changes, improving in quality, but still retaining some continuity.
