Abstract

This article discusses stone tools found during exploration on the territory of the Talgar district of the Almaty region. Stone tools were collected from the surface of the emergency site – the settlement of Baiterek 1. Despite the small number of tools, information was obtained about the presence of various economic sectors in the settlement. Using the traceological method, the typology and functional purpose of stone tools were determined.
