Results of complex natural science research Muradym-8, late Bronze Age settlement on the territory Bashkir Urals

The article presents the results of a study of Muradym-8, a late Bronze Age settlement located in the Bashkir Urals and associated with the Kazburunovsky archaeological microdistrict of the Demsko-Urshak interfluve. Archaeological research allows us to attribute Muradym-8, a settlement with a log culture. The archaeological excavations of the dwelling depression, located on the bed of a dried-up stream, presented a rich tool complex. Conducted naturalscience studies have shown that the site of the settlement after the departure of the population of the Late Bronze Age was used only for grazing and showed how soil processes completely rebuild the original thickness of the cultural layers of the settlement. The geochemical analysis of the pottery samples from Muradym-8, the settlement, showed that the pottery, in terms of geochemistry and petrography, cannot be correlated with the clay deposits of the adjacent river valleys.
